Building my brand

Hi Accented family.

I’ve had an interesting weekend. I used to have anxiety having to work, because of having to be alert constantly. This is a head scratcher to most people, but for us it can turn into a nightmare.

Although I love being a personal care attendant, I was always afraid that I might get fired because of a mistake on my part.
Lo and behold, it happened four months ago. I was doing everything in my power to make sure I wasn’t screwing up.

Well, turns out I did get fired and found myself sleeping in my car for a whole four months. In fact, I’m still sleeping in my car as I’m writing this blog. I’ve found a job about a month ago and it’s the perfect one for me. While I’m chipping away at my online business, I have security in knowing I can sustain myself mentally, hygienically, physically and nutritionally.

Don’t worry. I like sleeping in my car. I look at it this way; I have no rent to pay, no dead end job where the boss is breathing down my neck constantly
and a peace of mind knowing I can chip away at focusing on my goals.

I checked out a couple of apartments yesterday, because I know that good ol’ Jack Frost is coming to nip at me soon. If the winters weren’t that cold, I’d keep sleeping in my car until my business was up and running successfully, but a man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do, right?

Btw, I actually got my first royalty pay check from Amazon from my book reading sales. How stoked am I!!! The money isn’t great yet as I just recently started doing this, but it’s a good sign. Folks don’t even need to buy my books. Just read some pages of my free ebooks and I get paid. Gotta love the
internet I tell ya. (Don’t worry, I still sound like a South African. I’m just using Minnesotan lingo. Lol)

The daily motivational clips, affirmations and rituals is really working. I can see now how millionaires can’t stop working, because it’s like a drug. Once you see the little bits and pieces of your business paying dividends, the sky is the limit. This is what it means when people say you have to find your purpose in life. I wrote a book about poems, songs and comedy I never shared with anyone. It speaks about achieving success by having purpose in life. Be on the lookout for that one coming soon.

So thank you for reading my blog and I hope all of you my Accented family will have an extraordinary day.
