Hi Accented family.
I shouldn’t have, but I did. What is it I’m talking about? Well, the Australian Open of course. I stayed up to watch it this morning and man was I through the roof when I saw Roger Federer receiving his twentieth grand slam title.
You know when someone fights a hard fought battle to reach a goal, we don’t see the pain and suffering that goes on behind the scenes. All we see is the final process in the glory of achieving the success. As Federer was doing a lap around the tennis court to show off his trophy to his fans, one of the television commentators mentioned how hard he worked to win his title and it absolutely made me appreciate how far I’ve come to overcoming hardships of my own.
Seeing how people achieve their goals inspires me. It reminds me to keep focusing on my own. If you’re a human being, you can succeed if you set short manageable everyday tasks for yourself to get to an eventual bigger one.
So to conclude, I’m inspired and its not even funny.
Ta ta for now
